Out of riding for a couple months

So i just found out today im most likely doing surgery like next week on my shoulder. Its an old sports injury from playing tennis and bball in h.s which was two years ago :[ have down many rounds of physical therapy, anti-inflammatories, rest etc. so now im just going to get it over with which is the good news. the bad news of course is I won't be able to ride my ninjette for at least two months according to the doc. of course ill sneak a few short rides in between :]
im def going to miss it tho

Riding for me is a passion of mine just like it must be for you but take care of that shoulder after the surgery so it heals properly even if that means no riding this season.

Just a thought but, have a Doctor do the surgery. It's hard to do your own surgery when it's on a shoulder (like you only have one hand to work with).

ha you know i was thinking that i could do it by myself, but now that you mention it maybe i shud let a doctor do it haha

and Snake - yea just got to get it over with so i don't have to worry about it in the future. sad thing was i was planning on doing some mods and taking some very fun trips around arizona but can't do them for another couple months. ah well, i can just look at my ninjette all the time

Heal quickly. Think of all the physio as training for a nice long ride on the best set of curves in your area.

if you can still type, I guess we'll be seeing a lot of you on the forum.

so, if you can type, you most likely can work a screwdriver, so recuperation time might be a great time for some small mods to the bike. Not as good as riding it, but riding is so overrated.... mods are where it's at. Make sure to put the bike up on stands before the operation.

good luck with the surgery... and here's hoping for a speedy recovery.

The other problem about doing the surgery yourself is everything is reversed in the mirror

Get well soon and do ALL the rehab especially the range of motion work - been there done that.
