Difference between these models?

What is the difference between these models? I am trying to locate the right fairing part # for 2014 Ninja 300 ABS. Its white (i guess its called Pearl Stardust White?).

NINJA 300 ABS (EX300BEF)
NINJA 300 ABS (EX300BEFA)
NINJA 300 ABS (EX300BES)
NINJA 300 ABS (EX300BESA)

I now see "A" at the end means Special Edition. That leaves to what does "F" and what does "S" stand for?

I do not know for sure, but I'm betting one is the CARB-compliant model and the other is not. If that's the case, fairings meant for ether model would be fine.

Called Kawasaki, they said "F" stands for lime green and "S" stands for all other colors.

The F and the S seem to have slightly different part numbers for a lot of the painted parts. Tank, fender, fairings, etc. But I can't seem to see much difference. There's one clamp different between them on the fuel evap system, so I don't think it's a CARB thing.

I'm curious to see if we can find an official answer of what it means. What model does your bike's VIN up as?

It the "marketing code" assigned to the model

first box: A = w/o ABS : B= ABS
second box: D = 2013 : E= 2014; F= 2015;
third box: F = green : S = not green
fourth box: A = special edition (SE)

Not sure how official this is though... :\

It's been a while since I heard anyone argue this point so I will throw it out there. "F" stands for Faster which is obviously the color green. "S" means Standard .

So color means everything when it comes to Power:

The F and S diagrams both contain part numbers for black/red/white. The FA and SA (Special Edition) diagrams both contain white/green part numbers.

https://www.kawasaki.com/Parts/Parts.../2014/EX300BEF
Code:
35004-0318-H8 FENDER-FRONT,EBONY 1
35004-0318-15I FENDER-FRONT,P.RED 1 CAUS
35004-0318-25Y FENDER-FRONT,P.S.WHITE 1 CN
https://www.kawasaki.com/Parts/Parts.../2014/EX300BES
Code:
35004-0318-H8 FENDER-FRONT,EBONY 1
35004-0318-234 FENDER-FRONT,P.RED 1 CAUS
35004-0318-25Y FENDER-FRONT,P.S.WHITE 1 CN
Neither of them have green, but they do have different red parts...

https://www.kawasaki.com/Parts/Parts...2014/EX300BEFA and https://www.kawasaki.com/Parts/Parts...2014/EX300BESA both show the same green and white part numbers (with the white being the same as the regular white above).
Code:
35004-0318-25Y FENDER-FRONT,P.S.WHITE 1
35004-0318-777 FENDER-FRONT,L.GREEN 1

*shrug*

P.S. Black is first because it's fastest.

www.kawasakipartspitstop.com is the site I use for anything parts related. Usually easier to use that Kawi's own site and it includes just about every model.

You are pretty much spot on. This is what the Kawi rep told me.
