We had a great trip this past weekend. My wife rode tons of forest service roads and the trail you see above. She wasn't too thrilled until she started to see things you don't get to see on the pavement.

Our home for the (long) weekend

Citico creek

Waucheesi bald

Some falls

A mountain

Starr mountain

Probably her new bike

Is that a Versys? I looked at one today when I picked my bike up from the shop. That will most likely be my next bike, although I think I want the Kawi Green.

Yep 2015 Versys 650, she wants the LT, and I'm eyeing the 1000

haha, that's awesome! The pregen works great off road because of the softer suspension. Good for her!

Calling @Skippii - he's done some crazy stuff off road too...

I actually used a ZX6 shock and Progressive springs in my first pregen off-road, and some other shock and Eibach springs in the second.
...Now I have a DRZ400, though, so my Ninja stays on the street.....hahahah...totally kidding, my Ninja stays broken down in the garage because everything always breaks on it.
It actually was more reliable when I did take it off road all the time.

We switched up some bikes, She rode a DRZ 400, The DR rider got my KLR, and I got the Ninja. we got up to about 45 MPH and I had no problem on that back road.
it's not easy to shift or brake a ninja 250 in ADV boots!

Cool

Pre-gen Ninja 250 is a great lil off-road vehicle.. I've taken mine on numerous hardpack trails, with some spacers in the fork spings, more fork oil, the brake dive can be minimized so the handling is not as twichy while on the brakes.

Check out this ride report of Ninja 250, 2 up from TX to Argentina
