I read last week that there are now at least 800 members. If you all chip in together it won't be a burden on anyone.

Yes it's my birthday on Thursday and although Happy Birthday wishes are nice, a sweet new ride is even better.

how about an old mini bike with a 3.5hp briggs and stratton and a chain that flies off every couple miles as the engine vibrates out of alignment with the rear sprocket. (oops flashback to 1974!)

don't even remember the brand on that thing i had. after about 6 months of muffler burns, calf being whacked by broken chains, and arm ready to fall off from pull starter parents got me the '74 honda mr50 - real spoke wheels, 2 stroke, and 3 speed with a real clutch - never looked back after that.

Oh man, the mr50! That thing was such a blast! I didn't own one, but I stole a friend of mine's so much that people started thinking it was mine. I used to spend hours in the woods on that thing with an occasional foray on the street just so I could get the cops to chase me. It didn't take much to lose them on that little putt-putt once you got past the edge of the woods!

OH YEAH AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOU OLD FART!!

I went down to Miami to indulge in Birthday festivities yesterday. Had a great day.

It was very disappointing when I came home and there was no new bikes waiting for me from my good buddies (yea, sure, you guys are out) from the forum.

I did look at some nice bikes while in Miami. Unfortunately, I'm buying my older son the next bike (got the younger son the GSXR 1000 lately). When you're as old as me (56) you come last (at least that's what the girls tell me).
