MCRA 250 Race - Gateway Motorsports Park - 9/20/2015

Onboard video from my race win this weekend with MCRA at Gateway Motorsports Park. Hope you guys enjoy it. I personally think the audio from the announcer adds a lot to the video and makes it more interesting.

The gent on the KTM is a member here if memory serves me right. Haven't watched the vid yet, but I would guess it's pretty awesome like the last one.

Ha, that was me.

Watching Green_Bread progress as a rider and specifically a racer has been a ton of fun! Watching him go from middle of pack 250 to leading the championship after a season of racing is incredible.

In Sunday's race (video above) I hadn't been passed by a 250GT racers yet and to turn around and see bike 333 there instead of the #1 plate of Erni made me really happy!

Yep. As mentioned already, its @DCMoney and he and I are good friends. Its honestly cool to see him get excited for me because it gives me more motivation to keep pushing. Ive looked up to the dude for the last couple of years, so it feels good to have him in my corner. I dont announce it publically a lot, but Ive only been riding motorcycles, at all, for a little over 3 years and Im in my second year of racing, now. He has seen me come up pretty much from the very beginning and has been a HUGE help on and off the track as well as a great technical reference. We will see how much he helps me out next year if we end up racing in the same class again, though. Haha!

Thanks man! It means a lot to have you rooting for me. You know, I owe you and Adam both a lot of gratitude for helping me out with getting the suspension set up prior to the season. Im pretty sure the mods we did were the things that have given me the most confidence to keep trying and push the bike further and further. Sure, the seat time has made a difference, but the suspension is what has boosted my confidence, for sure.

@green_bread you're killin it by anyone's standards. For having ridden the same amount of time as me (with two seasons of racing rather than one) I'm impressed at how fast and smooth you are. I'd love to head out sometime next season to run in a race with you guys for fun

That would be awesome! I think the closest we come to MD is Putnam in Indiana. It would be amazing to have a bunch of Ninjette members at one of our track days, though!

You know Adam, I just don't get it. I have put in 100's fast and trouble free laps specifically at Putnam but the second they drop the green flag, I have the worst luck. I crash or run outta gas. I mean... common, I just come off of doing 100+ track days/races without a single incident.

I am definitely in the same boat as you at Putnam. I have raced there twice. First time, I crashed in Dead Bear. Second time, I run out of gas on the last lap while in the middle of an awesome battle with a couple other guys.

Maybe you and I should get together and try out some voodoo magic before the races or something. I am definitely open for suggestions!
