Question help with acewell 2853 gauge install

New guy here, lurked for a long time and finally signed up. Working on kind of a street tracker-ish 01 250 project. About to attempt wiring up an acewell all in one gauge and am wondering if anyone has done this before and can walk me through it. (Wiring and reading diagrams are not my sting suit)

Thanks in advance

Welcome Joel!

No experience with that gauge myself but have you already attempted to install it? Run into any snags?

Haven't started the install yet. I wanted to map everything out first.

started wiring the gauge up last night. Issues I'm running into so far:

Gauge flickers when rpms are low.

tack jumps around

Also on a side note, can I just use the stock wire for the tack instead of the one that came with the gauge? And is the black wire in the stock wiring harness (going to the tach) the ground? or the supply wire for the tach?

just to update, you can use the stock tach wire, and when you ground out the tach, ground it to the negative terminal on the battery.
