BT003 take offs- SoCal

Just put on a shiney new set over the weekend, so if anyone wants them, I have an 110/70-17 front and 140/70-17 rear in the BT-003s. they have around 6 trackdays and a race weekend on them, but I'm still pretty slow, so that's not as much wear as it should be T_T The sides are a bit worn, but there's still tons of tread in the center of the tires if you're a commuting warrior and just need a cheap set for stop light to stoplight drag races.

So, maybe..... $80 for the set? OBO? I'm in Los Angeles in the ever sunny (accept for today) socal, so local pickup would be preferred, but I could probably find a way to ship them if you're really in need. Any takers?

Great deal!

Sides aren't even worn down OP. You still have PLENTY of meat left. Either way, good deal.

Yeah, when I first pulled them I thought there wasn't any tread left on the sides, but it turns out all of the grooves were just filled with chuckwalla

I probably changed these a bit prematurely, so if someone also wants some cheap novice trackday tires, here's your chance to get dragged into our hot mess for a little cheaper

Everything you touch breaks though. It would be inhumane to subject such beautifully engineered rubber to that sort of punishment

Nah, I'm still running 003s, just using a fresh set now. And once I take off tires I'm done with them. WAAAAAAAAYYY too much effort to put them back on

Lol, that's funny because I bought my last set of 003's from a female rider who didn't want to put them back on. She ran 2 track days on them.

Thumbs up

I've shipped tires via regular USPS (created shipping using paypal).

To ship 2 tires across the US should be around $20-$25 at most. (no boxes, just slap a label on them and drop them at the post office)

Factor that is to the purchase (maybe a slight price break is needed).

Still a great deal for these tires. tons of life left + you can brag to people that you get them from a gangsta-track-racer. (also i can't write a sentence without including something extra in parentheses)

I'd love to jump on this deal, but like others they would have to ship to me in 37921. I fly out of town tomorrow for over a week but I would interested if we can work something out tonight or when I get back.

Edit: Assuming the above post is accurate for shipping cost I would offer $100 shipped?

Sorry, got back a bit too late to work out much tonight. Umm, I've never shipped anything this big and heavy, but I'll see how much it would cost. If it's somewhere in the $20-30 range, that'd be perfectly reasonable though. You've got first dibs for shipping if no one local picks them up by the time you get back

Back in the States now. If you have a number in mind throw it my way, assuming they haven't been picked up locally yet.
