Video: Tank-slappers at 170mph / 275km/hr
And riding on a public highway, at that. I thought this might be of interest to those of us who most likely will never ride that fast. Unless you want to watch the stupidly reckless riding and listen to the crappy technopop music in the first half of the video, start it at the two minute mark. Scary stuff, but he saves it (or maybe it saved itself).
I had no idea the bars could move that far at that speed. Notice the speedo, he scrubbed off a lot of speed very quickly - I can't imagine he was able to hang on well enough to use the front brake, and I wouldn't think that would be a good idea if he could. Finally, notice when he pulls over to the shoulder at the end. He evidently doesn't ride slow any better than I do. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-aKtYE-zLmU

The slapper eats a lot of energy itself, slowing down the bike. A common consequence of these things is that it spreads the pistons of the calipers apart and some pumping of the front brake's lever is needed to achieve any braking right after. It seems that a road's bump started it all.

Something doesnt look right to me. I dont want to say its fake but I wouldnt be surprised. Look at how much the bars moved, at that speed I think that he would have crashed for sure.
