Ninjette hit and run :(

Link to original page on YouTube.

I'm guessing the guy girl in the pickup truck SUV must have been drunk.

I watched the entire video and I have to say those people drive so fast around that area it's a wonder more people don't have crashes.

Mean the guy in the jeep that hit him? I wouldn't be surprised if he was completely sober. People don't care. =/

And yeah, it definitely looks like a few people went after him. One car looks like it even tried to block him off cuz the jeep swerved around them.

The comments say it was a female driver. Apparently, she got off pretty easy.

Description:

My Motorcycle Accident was caught on tape by the Walmart security cameras. I was on my way into work just like any other day when about 50ft from my parking space I was plowed over by a DUI driver who was cutting through the parking spaces. The girl who hit me later told police she never hit anything except a speed bump (because my bike was black and yellow). She said that even though her car was pretty much trashed after the hit and run.

Thanks for watching this and just learn from what I went through to always keep your guard up and always wear your riding gear. This was the first time I had ever ridden without my riding jacket and gloves and well you see what happened.

He said in his comments, that she was caught.

One of the white SUVs hit her. The white pickup went to catch the SUV after it fled the scene of the crime.

Great finding, Akima; thanks.

The sad reality is that there are always careless and ignorant drivers like that girl around us.

Regardless of who is to blame, is it us who go down or away in situations like this one.

Therefore, we must remain alert and cautious, especially in congested and fast paced places like that one.

Lawyers would get nothing form a person like that driver and all the expenses would be to be covered by the biker.

That is why insurance coverage for uninsured motorists and medical payments is so important to have.

In this state fleeing the scene of an accident is a major crime. Stacked with the DUI the driver would have done some serious time in the state penitentiary. According to the comments she was uninsured, it wasn't even her vehicle, so the rider's insurance had to cover it. He can't afford to get another bike, so apparently his injuries exceeded his insurance coverage.

There are places where driving without insurance is an arrestable offense, and when I see things like this it makes me think that perhaps that's not a bad idea.
