That sheetz is literally less then a 5 minute drive from me . If everyone can do sunday I can DEFINITELY go. I can bring my gopro and get some good footage of everyone riding!

Surprised no one else has chimed in. The seasons coming closer to an end so I'm getting as much riding in as I can.

Only 20% chance of rain on Sunday. This will be awesome!

BTW, do we have a route decided going from Sheetz?

A variant of the below route. I want to end up in the Monongahela National Forest Park for some whitewater action. Thinking a weekend camping trip.

Yeah I posted it on the last page I believe. Pretty much take 14 to 45 to get to the route I posted.

That looks fun and isn't much further south than where we'll be, but that's a long route.

200 miles is long? I dunno... I call it a good day. If I am going to slab 5+ hours to ride, I gotta make it worth my while ya know.

@csmith12, I think you might recognize the cat in this video. His lines are gorgeous through the keyhole and the carosel

Yea, that's Chris Holbert aka Preditor, because of the long dreds hanging out of his helmet. He is one crazy sob but sure knows how to ride. He coaches at Mid-o every time it's open to bikes. You meet his partner in crime Eric aka Monger (the coach who loaned me the back protector).

His lines though the keyhole and carousel are silkly smooth and did you notice he apexes those turns twice, at the start of the rumble strips and near the end, not in the middle. It's one big curve but he double apexes because of his line and hooking back in after letting the bike swing wide under power.

Ah yeah Eric seemed nice. I prolly should have spent a little more time talking with him. Oh well, I got plenty of time talking with the control rider I was assigned to (i forget his name)

and yes, I saw that I will be attempting to copy those lines on my 250 next time, now that I know the track a little bit. I was getting the Carousel more often than the Keyhole because it didn't have the off-camber or the rough patch, but towards the end of the day, I nailed the double apex a few times.

GAAHH!! now I'm thinking about the track again...

fyi, the keyhole is not off-camber. I thought this too until I WALKED out on the track. Even though you can't tell, it has a nice slight camber. They fixed the rough spot too.

Also, Imma update the mid-o thread!

no way!!! that was totally leaning outwards as you exit!

For real?? now I'm confused. It totally banked outwards a little as you exit... huh. \

EDIT!!! I think I put that post in the wrong thread.
I had the ohio threads open and posted them in the wrong one!! gaahhh sorry guys, I didn't mean for all this useless banter. We'll continue this in the mid-ohio thread

I know part of the route but some of it I didn't get to. But I'll have it in my phone and written down so we can't get lost. But ideally Saturday would be best for me since my fiancee wants to do airshow Sunday which sucks..

ight, well then Saturday it is!

Brett, I'll meet you at that Sheetz at 8:30-ish (I'm always a few minutes late) and then we can gas up and head out

Cody, we can ride later sometime later, even if it's just for a cruise. Here's to hoping that it's not too cold over thanksgiving, because I have a whole week off then.

Woot!!!! you know the rules of groups. Just take roads at a sane speed so that no one gets left behind. I know these will be new roads for me, so I'll be keeping my throttle in check, but you know the basics; braking/signaling in advance, staggering, checking back for the rest of the group, etc.
