2 Facts 1 Lie Game

Seen this on another forum and thought it was cool.

Rules:
One member lists three "facts" about themselves, except one of the "facts" is a lie. Be sure to be random about the order of your "facts". Also try to recite the facts in the same voice, so you don't give away the lie. Make sure and number your facts...Examples:

1. I jumped off a three story roof into a pool.
2. I rode a skateboard at 30+ mph while sitting on a fold up lawn chair.
3. I built a quad level tree house when I was 12 years old.

Facts can be about bikes or whatever. Have a general discussion about the three "facts". The member who gave the facts stays quiet.

The other members guess which one is a lie. You only get 1 guess! If you are wrong you have to wait for the next round.

The member sets the record straight by saying the lie e.g. #2 was a lie. They may also explain the circumstances for the other two facts. Everyone else may talk about how they were fooled or figured out which was the lie.

There is no time minimum time limit to guess. The first member to guess right will take control and submit their 3 facts.

If a member stating the facts can not confirm after a 72 hour period then it's up for grabs for who ever wants to start it back up

Post "72 hour reset" at the top of your post so everyone knows that the members facts have been booted

First member to guess the lie correctly and it's confirmed by Op, is up next.

There is no limit to how many times a fact can be used by other members but lets try to keep it original.

I will go first.

1. My first experience on 2 wheels @ 70mph was on a bicycle
2. I have 18 cats
3. I am a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo

Tempted to look up animal laws in your state .

1. As crazy as it sounds, a big hill and balls of steel should do it. Fact

2. 3 cats max seems reasonable for a sane person. There's no way you could provide enough love & attention for 18 cats, 3 motorcycles, 1 bicycle, and the "ladies"... Unless you've got the rotation down to the T. Lie

3. Sounds the most down to earth... But maybe its too obviously normal to be true. I'll say Fact

Fact: This summer I was up to 22 cats. After finally giving many away, I am down to 13. So 2 is the lie. Winner! Your up.

I don't have enough time to attend to all the cats, I have to enlist the kids help. I have 4 kids and a wife that pull the assist for the pets.

1. I spent a school year in France studying abroad, and celebrated my birthday in Côte d'Argent (popular nude beach).

2. I have been on the Korean television station Arirang TV co-starring in a music video.

3. I tore the @$$ out of a new pair of Icon motorcycle pants after 1 hour of parking lot practice.

I got a good laugh out of all the responses and reasoning.

1. I'm too poor to live in France lol. I would absolutely love to spend some time out there and explore the country.

I'm not rich enough to live in France either - but I grew up in Germany so France was across the street.

That's brilliant! I was interviewed for Korean TV when a tour bus showed up and interviewed some artists - never did see it Too bad you didn't get on the Gangnam style vid - then you'd have more than enough to tour France!

#1 I went to a nude beach in Hawaii with my parents and my sister. Was not aroused.

#3 I got into motorcycling because all my life I've watched others in my life like my dad ride and saw how much fun it looked.

I would've said #3, but I'll have to go with #1. I'm not sure what part of it disturbs me most... that he went with his fam, or that he was not aroused lol...

Yeah but the stranger truth is that I wanted to be an archaeologist. As for #3, My friends and I were surrounded by police and dragged out of our cars in a bank parking lot because apparently, I looked like I was selling drugs.

I had a similar experience when I was 22. Was installing a car stereo in my car, I lived in apartments at the time. I pop my head up from under the dash to find 4 cops, all accusing me of selling pot out of my car. It was totally stupid too, I had wires hanging out and the dash tore halfway off and they still insisted that they search my car. All they found was a few old french fries from McDonalds, which I ate after they left.

if you are interested, my heart stopped on the OR table under anesthetics and they took 4 and half minutes to get my heart beating again, breaking my sternum and ribs in the process... that was painful to wake up to.
