If you like city riding and just cruising around town, and not worried about getting up to 160 in a matter of seconds, then a Buell is an awesome bike. I absolutely love it and wouldn't trade it for anything. The sound of the V-twin is definitely different from all the sportbikes you see out there but it definitely grows on you. If I were to get another bike it would most likely be another Buell, they really are a fun motorcycle.

Nice pictures @ZackoFF96
You should ignore the riders who encourage you not to wear gear though. It doesn't matter where you live (Taiwan, India, USA, England...) if/when you come off your bike physics will work just the same: without gear you're going to loose skin, blood, suffer through horrible pain, pay huge medical bills and are more likely to brake bones, be out of work and most importantly... be unable to ride your motorcycle! If you look through the crash threads on this forum, you'll see that the majority of crashes occurred during normal riding (not racing). To make it less obvious that you're wearing gear you could buy some Kevlar reinforced jeans like these. You could also buy proper motorcycle boots, but wear them underneath your jeans, so they are more inconspicuous. You can also buy protective leather jackets which don't look obviously like motorcycle protective wear. |

not sure if i posted new pics of me and my new ride here yet. my ninjette got totaled, i was hospitalized for a while, rehabbing now... but as soon as i was able to move my left leg enuff to shift gears i bought a blue cbr600rr... it was aiight, but i eventually sold it and bought the bike i really wanted: 2006 Yamaha YZF R6 anniversary edition.... and it came from the previous owner with only 7k miles and the wheels custom powder coated white.
here is a pic of me on her the day she came home taking her for her first meal and the second pic im not in but it is after i did some mods... shogun frame sliders, gold shorty levers, custom carbon fiber tank pad ordered from UK (real hard shell carbon fiber, not a sticker w carbon fiber design)

LOL csmith12 did i make it into ur signature???
yes i do want to make it to the track! i was even going to do cali superbike school this year at NJMP but all my track plans got ruined when a cager made an illegal turn at an intersection where i had the right of way and hit me, totaling my 250 and half of my body. so physically i am still recovering from 3 achilles tendon surgeries and still need one more procedure to clean up the skin flap from my thigh they grafted into my ankle to rebuild me a new achilles i bought a new (bigger faster) bike and im riding again but i am still just not physically ready to hit the track. next season i will be back in shape and out there tho, and hopefully able to afford a separate track bike when i get my full ins settlement thanks for the shutout brother. i see ur an R6 guy now too

About the only pic of me on the street with my first bike. Taken sometime last year by my ex. Here I am at age 13 on my bad-ass dirt toy. Well, it's a bike, and I'm on it. Also, just for shits and giggles, a buncha chicks on another one of my bikes. |

I approve My favorite mtb park has a jump course. There's some huge table tops and a few fun gaps that you can get some air like this on.
Before I ate sh!t, it was a lot of fun. Then I got to head to the ER for a bruised rib, and a partially collapsed lung. I will be keeping a wheel on the ground from now on. XC trails for me, not jumping. It was fun while it lasted!! I took more damage than the bike did. |

Nope, that's my riding buddy. She looooooooooves to be taken for a ride.
You can have the one on the far right. She got really drunk and threw up in my truck one time. Then my friend tried to kiss her right after and we all had to stop them both. I nearly puked after that. |
