Come on Texas lets ride!!!!!!!!

Well whenever we get the weather to cooperate we need to get a group ride together with everyone in the area. I am up for the weekends and would love to meet some of the guys from my area with 250r's. We have some time to figure this out but just wanted to let everyone be aware that i would love to get this thing rolling for some group rides. Just post on this thread any ideas you have or if you just want to say hey and that you are in the area.

I'd love to meet up with some other Ninjas in central Texas as well. Just give me plenty of heads up on whatever day is chosen so I can request it off from work.

thats why i posted it now so that we could come up with a time in the distant future and a route to ride so that we might be able to ride it individually to know it better. But believe me, i want to know when it is in time to get prepared.

Lime Creek road? you should know that. I have been down it before in a car but not a motorcycle.

so I've heard two different stories from different people about some lady and her husband that live along LCR and go out in their truck to dump gravel along the road to keep bikers away. What a dick. The guy at cyclegear recommended Park Road 4 in Burnet.

Isn't that technically littering?

I was checkin out the txmotophoto website and they said most days they aren't on a schedule road they are " on Hwy 337 between Vanderpool and Leakey or on Hwy 16 between Kerrville and Medina!"
I checked out those locations on street view and they certainly look like some nice twisties even if it is 2 hours away from me. Could make for a nice day trip when it's warmer though.

also FM166 from Caldwell to College Station is closer to you and isn't particularly twisty but doesn't look too bad either.
FM1948
Co Rd 106 / Old McDade Road east of Elgin seems to get twisty, although the road conditions dont look so great.

I think I'll need to break down and get a Corbin seat before we do a ride like this.

So it seems we have a good number near Houston. Y'all know of any twisties down there? I'd be willing to ride down there if there's any good roads.
