Passed the BRC today!

I finally got to take the BRC this weekend in PA.

The instructors were all excellent guys, very friendly and knowledgeable. I defiantly learned some things in the course. It is excellent if you have never touched a motorcycle before. I have rode 1600 miles on my bike before I got to the course so day 1 of the riding was boring. Day 2 however was what I was there for; To work on low speed type stuff. They really do ride rain or shine. We rode in the light rain and hid in the shed during a down pour. What better way to learn U-turns and quick stops than in the rain.

I did not like the cruiser style bikes we used. I rode a Kawasaki eliminator 125. I figured I would use their bikes to have a chance to see what riding something different was like. It really made me appreciate my ninjette. I came home ate lunch and spent the rest of the afternoon riding.

Overall I enjoyed the experience. I think next summer I'll take one of the advanced courses.

Yea the U turn box is tight. Glad to have the practice tho. I want to take my bike to one of the test sites and practice it some more, as well as swerves.
