Agreed on the withdrawals 100% - life is too busy and all I want to do is get on track

I like yours better. More lean, better BP. There's so much room for improvement in my riding... I just need to grow a pair.

I went to NYST last May, with Penguin.

The day was a bit of a zoo... multiple organizations (at least three, maybe four) running all at the same time, with big speed differentials. I have video of me passing a slower rider at about +30 mph, and then having someone pass me right after at a similar delta. Made me wonder if they were sending different groups out together.

I felt kind of lost all day. Really made me appreciate Tony's Track Days. Far more orderly, very safety-minded.

Nice track, though. Given how mind-blowingly awesome Palmer is, plus the fact that it's a lot closer to me, I'm not likely to return this year.

I know what you mean. Sometimes guys do get mixed in, but normally they're pretty good about bumping up and down. I've never gone on a private day, I've only ridden with NYST themselves. I love that place. It's my home

As for my BP/Lean, my head and shoulders come down as I dip into the corner. Neither of us has really gone into the corner entirely in our pictures. Love "the bowl". Terrifying and exciting!

Maybe it was a cr/coach. Sometimes... they go out in odd sessions without a jersey on. For example, I will go out without a jersey on to try something new that I don't want other riders to try. I get funny looks sometimes. lol

Coaches strictly wear yellow neon vests at NYST. Noobs wear jerseys.

@adouglas I am sure you could have ridden quicker. The pictures in my OP were taken while I was on some s**t pilot powers. lol

In our organization anyone can wear a red that wants special attention/coaching from the coaches. I have never ridden a lap without one, and likely never will. People get really caught up with the "noob" status and get pretty butthurt at getting passed by a yellow followed closely by a red. It's not that big of a deal guys, we are all here to learn not race.

Nice offroad adventure there, @AwDang

I won't be on track again until April for the NOLA round of WERA

I don't think I ever shared this here, it's footage from the GNF. I'm the yellow and blue bike that shows up at 45 and 230. I was so close to beating that darn KTM until he ran me off track in charlotte's web

I started scheduling time off so I can go to the cart track this spring.
I miss riding so I am now riding a stationary bike at home.

The bikes have been pushed to the back of the garage, you have to climb over one to get to the beer fridge, and the snow blower has the dominant spot by the garage door.

I think that might be an artifact of the camera angle.

What I see is that you're lower (therefore lower/more inside c.g.) and more in contact with the bike, with the centerline near your shoulder joint. You're wrapped around the bike with the center of your chest pointing at the longitudinal axis of the bike. Look at the MotoGP aliens and you'll see the same thing.

My bp is getting there, but I'm still too rigid. I really need to work on weight loss and flexibility... at age 56/57 it's tough to do. Still carrying around about 15 extra pounds that I'm having a hell of a time getting rid of.

What I really need to work on most, though, is figuring out what that funny rotating thing on the right clip-on is for. I have a deep-seated fear of high-siding and am way too timid with the throttle.

Highsiding isn't all that bad.
