Stretched Pre Gen?

****This is NOT my bike**** found it in another 250 forum. BUT I think it looks cool. Would be a cool mod for my 250. Thoughts?

Im no motorcycle expert but I do know a little. It would probably take away from the speed, which 250 isnt a racing bike anyways and probably slow the turns down more.

And actually after looking more, I dont think this is a 250. But the original thread said it was. Still possible though.

makes me cringe.

just being honest. i think extended bikes are retarded.
I get that big engine drag bikes need it but anything that runs on street and is extended is stupid IMO.

Let alone a 250. Soooo pointless.

I seen a lot of these in the Louisiana and Mississippi area, what is it's purpose to do this and what are they good for?

It's definitely a pregen 250 Ninja. The whole reason for stretching the swingarm on a bike is to reduce the rotating moment around the rear axle, which allows you to accelerate harder without pulling a wheelie. Perfect for the dragstrip, pointless everywhere else, and especially pointless on a 38hp 250. Downsides are vastly increased turning radius, poor handling everywhere, especially in the twisties that the nimble 250 Ninja really shines, and lastly, the point and laugh humiliation from everyone else that sees the bike.

I've never understood how anyone can enjoy riding one of those, especially on something as dinky as a 250.
