Its mine,
Sold the cbr in January for $5000(which was still road registered but i'd done a solid year in 2012 of 14 track days with full coaching with no crashes!) to buy the Ninja as it was ready to race the 2013 season and time & $ were running out.

Was previously an insurance writeoff 1000km on the clock and then built to National MA standards, it did two National races with another rider on it then I bought it for $3500
Its now done 2500km 6 track days, 3 tuning days, and 4 race rounds.
Needs Jetting badly and some triple clamp straightening but I'm pretty quick on it, no wins(yet but so close) but came second, a heap of 3rds, a 4th, and a 10th.

One more race to go but have wrapped up 3rd or Higher for this yrs state races.

Next year hopefully building a Honda and putting another rider on the Ninja.
*Unless Yamaha gets off its ass and Brings the R-250 single and I'll be all over it.

From being on this forum, I got the impression that it wasn't possible to do 14 track days without crashing.

My race bike is a 2006 Honda CRF450R motard with lots of goodies. I used to own a 2004 Kawasaki ZX-6RR race bike that won the Canadian Amateur Championship (not me on it though)

Not sure what it looks like all assembled yet, but I'll be mounting it this weekend just in time for the cvma season opener the week after, and I'll post pics. SO MANY HOURS AND SO MUCH TAPE

Haha, I even had to break out a protractor and remember my geometry to pull those off!

It's not perfect, but it'll definitely be something different. Between repairing bodywork for the first time and building stencils this was a learning experience and a half

"A" for effort and execution pho sho.

Paint scheme (not sure why) but reminds me of Two Face.

Is that a rattle can job? Shiet, looks better than my primed fairing and or Shawn Pen's plain black job. One can even say he'd do a BJ for free cuz he loves it so much.

Hahahah, more or less what I'm going for. Two face, or a court jester, or really anything that's one extreme to the next. Seems fitting

This paint job was, indeed, brought to you by rustoleum rattle cans, a hand measured cardboard hexagon, quilting/painters tape, legitimate clearcoat, and my blood, sweat, and tears. It's not perfect at all up close, as tape is stupid and fickle and sticks to me better than it sticks to fiberglass. BUT it'll pass the 30 feet away or 30mph test for sure!

Now hurry up and come up with something new for yourself, Jon! I'm not used to you being on track without perfect color coordination and style

I'm drawing myself a logo and mascot character, too! Who knew all those years I spent being a nerdy artist would actually someday be applicable to motorcycles

This thread hasn't been touched in a long time, which is a shame, since it's one of my favorite threads. But for me- a new season means a new paint job (even though I somehow went the entire last season without crashing my soccer ball paintjob). So, For the first sneak peek, even before I reveal this on my facebook (Wow! So exclusive! Like, Ohmigawd!), I present to you Tiff's 2014-2015 design

And yes, I will readily admit that designing and painting is high on the list of my favorite parts of racing. I also designed a logo and mascot for myself last year, but I'm still waiting on a new set of Zombie stickers to put all over this, so please bear with the bareness.

I think this is my favorite so far

That's a great looking bike #19… saw it at the last couple of Pitt Meadows TDs (thanks for being a safety rider last weekend...)

This is mine - I picked it up a few months back and have been having an absolute blast learning to ride on the track.
Sucks it's all wrapping up for the year here
