Scorpion EXO 1000 Helmet

Just picked up a new EXO 1000 from Sportbiketrackgear.com for a crazy $50 on closeout. This will be my 2nd helmet that I want to use during the daytime.

My question for anyone with experience with this line of helmets, I want to get a face shield that is very dark almost mirrored.
http://stores.sportbiketrackgear.com...-1000+Helmets#
The shield on this link are described as "mirrored" and then they have dark smoke. Is the dark smoke just smokey? or is it blacked out? Based on the pictured they all just look like tinted plastic not a mirrored finish. Little confused.

the exo1100 that I own has a visor that comes down already but I never really use it since it's easier for me to just use a dark smoke visor.

speaking of the dark smoke visor, I can't say anything bad about it. It's tinted enough to where the sun doesn't bother me during the day unless I look directly at it. however, it's also tinted just enough to where I can see clearly at night as well, it doesn't fog up and rain just rolls right off of it (though that's the same with my other visor) it may look too light in the picture online but it'll be dark enough when you get out on the road and people can't see inside easily like they can w/a clear visor.

Yea, it's dark enough to not see inside unless close up. But it's not mirrored if that is what your after. With the internal drop down dark sun visor and breath deflector your not gunna be identified even with a clear one.

And... don't be fooled by the "Everclear" tech. Those visors fog up so easy, trying to keep it clear is like trying to ride a government trained mule.

Yeah I'm looking for legit MIRROR. Like you can not see in it no matter what. Mainly I just love the look of that, also they are so easy to change out that its ridiculously easy to just keep the clear with me if I'm ever out at night and switch it up.

That looks so much different from their stock photo they use to advertise. That looks pretty nice just dont know how that color will match up with my whole scheme. Im a stylish guy

I really like this silver one might go for the silver.

Not sure how i feel about the dark smoke, just looks like a tint and not mirrored at all..

Also I wish I had a blue bike just for this blue visor, that's probably the coolest looking thing I have ever seen

They have all the mirror colors right there on their site! haha Silver mirror is a normal mirror color, all the other ones are legit mirrors too but they have a color on them green, blue, etc.

See that is what I assumed but the pictures they use on the site are so horribly misleading I didn't want to have to send it back, now its just deciding what color. I don't think the ruby will match the red Kawasaki color at all so might go with silver.

Just found a deal on the silver for $25
http://www.ebay.com/itm/221240089596

I believe that's the silver mirrored, it says "reflective" in the description and silver in the title.

it would make a sick passenger helmet if you don't already have one most girls fit size small in my experience. (limited experience, I've only ridden 2-up with 4-5 girls and 6 have tried it on (the last one was too scared so the ride didn't happen))
