I cannot agree with the explanation about weight transfer depending on suspension set up.

In my book, the front patch feels the same with soft or hard front spring; ........ but I have been wrong many times before.

Dave Moss is da man!! When it comes to suspension setup. He was here a couple months ago, and was doing suspension setup and a seminar on how suspension works, and how to 'read' tires. Lots of good information (too much to absorb at one time, really). I haven't been through the whole video series yet, be he said it's all on his site now.

If you ever get a chance to go...do it!

I've been trying to watch his videos to understand bikes better, the process usually ends up being

Watch it
think about it
watch it again to figure out what I didn't get the first time
think about it
watch it again to confirm that I learned the info properly

How the hell am I able to take learning this stuff more seriously than my school studies that I actually get tested on. Oh well, the end result for both is that I learn it so it's all good.

Every single time Dave touched my bike on track, I felt better and rode better. The guy is AMAZING.
