Hello, new member here...

Hello all,

I'm Brian and just picked up my 250 last night. Needs a lot of work (sat for a couple of years), but I hope to have it running in a few weeks. Its my first bike so I know I have lots to learn. Can't wait to get started.

Welcome to ninjette!! There's a lot of really knowledgeable people here who are always willing to help you with whatever you need. Glad to see someone new in the riding community

Working on the 88-07 250's is not hard if you have some mechanical intuition. Here's a great site for reference on any work you need to do with good instructions:

and we're here to help if you get stuck.

make sure that you take the MSF course and invest in some good gear. Get it running and have some fun

I've been sort of living at http://faq.ninja250.org/wiki/Main_Page page for the past week or so. Lots of work to do on the bike. Getting a plan going on what needs attention.

I did take the MSF course already, worth every penny. Working on getting the gear.

Not her best side considering the broken turn signal. She fell over when it rained and the ground got soft under the kick stand. That is the only real damage she has tho.
