There are two review on lulu.com, both 5 star.

Is that really the cover? Or did you just create that yourself in MS paint?

Thanks, Ally, but I just guide members to the places where good information can be found.

I don't have much information but about myself.

"What is important is to understand yourself. Without self-knowledge, your thought, that which you reason out, has no basis. Without first knowing yourself, how can you know what is true? Illusion is inevitable without self-knowledge. It is childish to be told and to accept that you are this or that. Beware of the man who offers you a reward in this world or in the next." - Jiddu Krishnamurti

Hi, just a quick hello!

I'm the author of the book in question, MIND over MOTORCYCLE.

The book is an in-depth explanation of the function of our brain, how it works as we ride, and the mental skills and disciplines we need to develop to ride safely.

In answer to the questions, firstly yes that really is the cover and secondly, the reason it's not on Amazon is mostly because I haven't got around to it. Getting a book published to Amazon from Lulu (who are the best publish-on-demand solution I was able to find) isn't altogether straightforward, and I've just been too busy with other projects.

If anyone is kind enough to buy a copy, it's very easy to order the book direct from Lulu, whether you're in the US / Canada or here in the UK.

However, I guess if there's enough people asking for an Amazon outlet, I'll have to look into it.

You'll also find a bunch of free articles here:
http://www.survivalskills.co.uk/rskills.htm

And I also have a busy Facebook page (hope it's not bad form to mention that here! If so, apologies) at www.facebook.com/survivalskills where we discuss all sorts of rider safety issues and better riding techniques!

Hi Kevin and welcome,

Thanks for taking the time to post here and give us a hint to the subject matter the book covers. How the brain works has always been one of my fascinations.
I have also read many of your articles already but then got kinda busy getting ready for this years race season that I totally forgot to get a copy of the book. One of the many things I have forgotten about.
Anyway, I will check out the FB page and purchase a copy of the book for evening reading.

Thanks again!

Thanks for the warm welcome folks!

I feel bad I don't own a Kawasaki now Honda (CB600F2 Hornet), Yamaha (XJ6 Diversion) and Suzuki (92 GSXR750)...

I do own and ride regularly a 1981 CB250RSA Honda so maybe that'll be accepted as an honorary qualification for the forum.

Off-topic now, but years ago, my brother owned a Kawa 250 Scorpion, the Kork Ballington replica like this one but with a full race colour matched green / white fairing... was fun to ride - until you ran out of ground clearance!!
