I will be there 7/18 then stay for AMA.

mmmmm, I didn't ride Mid-O enough last year.

Will see what I can do to ride on the 18th, but the July race schedule is open right now and can still change.

No ideas Chris.

Gotta get my job situation sorted before I commit to track time. Not even sure what part of the country I'll be in this summer. If I'm too far from OH, I won't even take the green lady with me because of logistics.

I'll let you know when I know. Keep an eye on Fbook. If I'm here, definitely in for a day or two at MidO, maybe Nelson Ledges or Putnam if I feel crazy enough.

Part of me wants to tell you to hit a different track but the smarter part of me says to do that intermediate group day where your comfortable. We got plenty of time to work it out.

It will be my 2nd track day and 1st at mid-o.
I am planning Putnam August 22nd with STT.

It would be nice to finally meet both of you

Yell yea, git ya some! Good luck at Putnam, I am gunna try to do less Putnam this year but will be there May 17-18. You should find Putnam much less of a technical track but I hope you like turn 10 as much as I do. The WALL messes with alot of rider's heads.

Did Putnam last year. Turn 7 is the one I have issues with. I was passed on 8 from the inside, Novice group. That screwed with me since I was only a foot from him in full lean.

we're shooting for April 28 or 29 (mon or tue), dependign on the weather. will signup last minute based on weather forecast which is absolutely critical at MO. riding that track when wet is like petting a snapping turtle... "nice turtle, nice turtle, SNAP!"

Many riders turn in to late for that corner. Yea, I said LATE. Understandable though, it's the sharpest corner on the track. Just straighten it out as best you can and don't be afraid to use ALL the track you need on exit. Take your time to warm up to it and find a line that works for you and TRY not to turn in to late. After you get a feel for the track, ask a control rider to tow you a lap or two and compare your turn in point vs the control riders.

I have put in the most wet laps in at Putnam. In order to not crash, you have to go soooooo slow.

It's almost not worth getting out there but at least it's rideable where as Mid-O... agreed, is REALLY, REALLY not rider friendly in the wet. When we all where there last year (that day we missed each other in the paddock), I went out for 2 laps in the wet, skated around and said NOPE! I'm done. lol
