'Tis a fair request in my opinion. However, being on a Ninjette forum, it intrinsically implies that the pictures should have a Ninja 250. Yet the rules were still adjusted to allow non-Ninjette owners play. So regardless of what bike the winner asks to see in the new challenge, pretty much any bike can be accepted. Requiring that the new challenge define a specific model of bike becomes merely a matter of semantics.

And as previously stated, this is how the rules of the game have evolved, and is unlikely to change without more support, regardless of whether or not I agree.

PS: And also it's a game. Let's just have some fun.

Bureaucrats don't look at the intention of the rules and enforce the letter of the law even when in conflict with the intention. The intention was to make members get out and ride to complete the challenged. "Your Ninja" accomplished that by making it so that you could not use a pic of someone else's bike. Because the point was to get out and ride, the non-Ninja entry satisfies the intention. Not only that, but a Concourse 1400 is basically a Ninja ZX14 with raised bars and luggage.

I am glad to see this thread is still alive

I haven't logged on in a long time , i gave up riding because I didn't have the self control to be a responsible rider . I played on the curves until one bit me.

I was fortunate that the bike was the only fatality.

I'm glad to see this site is still strong and still has members looking out for each other.

I will never catch up on what I've missed 12,068 unread

Holy crap..... you do still exist.

Yup, we've kept this thread going with a couple of us trying to keep it in the original spirit of the game. The only thing we added was a time limit to challenges because there were a few times we went months w/o a picture for the challenge and the thread would almost die.

That sucks about you, the bike, and riding. But I guess it's good that you realized what the problem is and that you're not ready to overcome it yet. I say give it a few years for a higher level of maturity in which to build that self-control and then try again if you want.

Thx @Mountain Dew... I couldn't get it to show up while I was posting from my phone. Just got back to my office with the intent of fixing it. Glad to see someone beat me to it.

And @saxnbass, trust me when I say it is very much an adult/porn shop. I've purchased there before and have been inside. They've pretty much got it all. They just can't put up banners saying "HEY EVERYBODY... PORN HERE!!" I can go back and take a photo of the little sign in the door saying "no one under 18 admitted" to me... that pretty much sums up that it's an "adult" store as you stated in the challenge. Not sure about where you live, but here there's laws that prohibit the signage and what can be displayed in the shop windows. I could've gone to another store but all it says is "Bob's Books" and the windows are blacked out with tarps.

If you don't want to believe me, so be it.

Let me know if you decide to approve it or not.
