Just picked up my 2009 Ninja 250R last week - already have a few hundred miles on it! My husband ordered a FMF Apex pipe for it - we'll install this weekend. Gotta show off that twin sound! Lookin' forward to reading about fellow ninjettes!

Northern California. Than looks like a right proper place to ride a Ninja 250. I'm about as far away from there as you can get and still stay in North America, but I'll make it out there someday. Thanks for the map Alex

Mike - Appreciate the welcome! As much as I love my VTR, the Ninja has 10 years of advanced technology. The throttle response was an eye-opener for me. And despite the after-market exhaust I put on the VTR, it still sounded like a sewing machine. However, the FMF Apex I put on the Ninja makes it sound like a Ducati! I eventually hope to make my VTR a track-only bike. Although they are not selling the VTR 250 here in the states, my husband tells me they are still selling it overseas. Is that true?
