Choke Cable Relocation/shortening?
Since I am rebuilding a 2005 ex250f into a race bike, ideally I would like to get rid of all of the left-hand controls, there is no need for them
To do this, I will need to move the choke to somewhere else I think. Anyone have any experience with doing this? I was thinking a custom bracket and a really short cable maybe? |

I've seen a couple of "race" setup carbs with cable entirely removed from bike. Using a length of wound safety wire on the choke bracket loop....a washer on the end used to pull by hand, the whole works maybe 6" long, the washer just sticking out the LH side.
Electrical wire, a rod of some sort, GF's g-string.....use your imagination |
