How do YOU adjust the junk?

WTF! Ever since I got my bike it seems like im picking at my pumpkin patch at every stop light. Sometimes even standing on the pegs while riding to get a little jiggle in there to adjust the boys.

Anybody else ever encounter frequent adjustment issues while riding?!

Briefs look good... but damn are they uncomfortable.

You should stop wearing your skinny jeans to ride a bike. You'll end up with a yeast infection.

I make sure to stow them in the designated compartment in the upright position for the safety of the crew and the comfort of those around.

However the ninja is pretty bad for nut crakkin, I had to brake extra hard a week back, went from grapes to plums

Tmi?

Since we're on the topic, be cautious when braking. Remember to squeeze the tank extra hard to avoid any... umm... squishing.

I usually stand up and do a lil shake...Sucks when your in traffic and it happens. Plus theres a chance of a pinch when adjusting with gloves..lol. I try to use some baby powder when I ride to help.

try lacey boy shorts from Victoria's Secret. hold firmly, super comfortable, yet breathe easily.... if you don't mind your cheeks hanging out a bit

Steven,

You have been riding your pre-gen for 17 days only, after 17 years, you will feel less discomfort.

Simply switch to boxer shorts.

Go commando when the heat gets too much..... No but srsly has anyone ever tried this?

I usually just pull my pants/boxers up before I sit on the bike....and I don't give in to the temptation to pull them down while riding.

I wear boxers. Stopped wearing briefs in the '80s. It was an issue on the 250 for me until I got a 2 piece leather suite that zips together then it was much less of an issue.

I rarely have problems with this lol but then again I don't have a 250. Pumpkin patch... haven't heard that one before. When I do have this issue it's usually at a drive through where I shut my bike off and push it forward with my feet while still sitting on it... it kinda scrunches things up down there... Usually fixed by standing up on the bike while riding, and jumping to shake things loose and maybe with some assistance from my hand. Not recommended for heavy traffic situations. Can also happen with an inexperienced passenger... had to cut that ride short early.

Sadly I haven't found a way to deal with those while riding. Standing on the pegs and wiggling helps a little, but there's usually not much I can do until I'm stopped.

i got a cruiser and havent had any issues since. But yes i have had a few hard braking moments on the old 250 and forgot to grip the tank hard enough and my boys did not appreciate it. never had an issue while casually riding though. you could be sitting too far back on the seat and sliding forward slowly causing your pants to ride up and eventually causing this discomfort.

Could've used this advice a few weeks ago! I'm used to riding cruisers and just got my 250, hit the brakes kinda hard due to a nimrod that wasn't paying attention..................INSTANT GROIN SHOT into the gas tank. I'm sure someone laughed seeing me bent over the bike saying, "OMG FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT'S HOLY!"

Ya know, there actually have been times where I've wondered how the hell guys manage to ride without doing serious harm to themselves. This thread is proving to be quite informative.

I actually was going to put it there, but was afraid it wouldnt be welcomed there.

Posing a twist to the question...
