race/track 300 stock shock thoughts

Anyone here track/race a 300 with stock shock. I weigh 190. Ohlins shock on back order. I have race tech springs and emulators. Tires not sure until I get to the track and look at selection available.
Expert level club racer.
How is the rear shock when pushed?

Thanks for the input!

From one expert to another.... you can run with it, preload on max. Give it a go during a track day before the races and plan from there.

Non-expert and on the slow side but I have found it very limiting. I'm 195 naked and after a morning poop so well over 200 geared up. Race tech front springs and emulators as well and stock rear. Front wants to push limiting your ability to gain/carry more mid-corner/exit speed. My experience anyway.

Thank you for your input.

What spring rate are you running?
I'm installing springs tomorrow.
I have a set of .80's and a set of .85's.

Thanks!

My 250 had the same feeling until I did the front bits, springs, emus, preload adjustment and caps for tweaking. I raced an entire season with a stock rear on max preload. When I started creeping up on the track records, ahamay's post is spot on how it feels when the bike wants to buck you off. I have since went to a gsxr rear and still get the same feeling when trying to go hard or chase down rr riders.

oh, I am 195 geared. If it matters much, the lil 250 felt much better at pace when I was 175lbs.
