Nice, I'm planning on running the CCS Mid-Atlantic season myself starting with the late may summit main race. Hopefully I don't get schooled too badly on my first season

I'm interested, regardless of date. I can take a day off work for fun time. At the least, I'll be there to manage the pit crew responsibilities, take stunning photographs, and offer some (energetic and charismatic) feedback on your riding from what I'm able to see.

The big limiting factors on my end involve: 1) bike condition 2) general rider skill rust 3) logistics of transporting myself, my gear, and my motorbike.

With me being a cr, there will be no shortage of pit duties to take care of, thanks.

I got ya some Cannon camera training too, but only about 15 mins. hahahahah

fyi, I suck at lighting but if the day is sunny... I can show you how to blur the background, yet keep the rider in focus. About 250 ms/shutter priority, with a focus point at the front of the bike (left or right of center depending on the corner) with a leading movement with the lens and a quick finger on the shutter should yield decent results.

so from the look of it August 3-4 is the ideal for me though I could do July 6-7 as well

Do a 2 day! One day in novice to shake of the barnacles and the next day in I (if you feel up to it).

As a cr, it's easy for me to get a N spot. Other groups are iffy as I have to go where the track manager or Mike tells me to go. Either way, if I get stuck in N and you're in I, I can still get out there with you as much as I have energy to safely ride.

I'm going to be changing some fluids in the bike today. I'm not sure if I will get to the brake fluid but once I finish that the bike should be ready for the track.

Well, with the wife not getting any time off from work this year, our June Gap trip, putting up a big storage shed, buying 2 more bikes, and other random expendatures......our track days will likely be limited to Putnam this season. We will be hitting the cart tracks with the sumos quite a bit though ( ultra cheap tracktime )

Aug 18/19 isn't possible since I'm already going to be at the track a ridiculous number of days in Aug. If finances were no issue this would be the better date though

Sept 21/22 may be possible but I'm not sure about it due to school.
