$40 Gauntlets!!!!

http://stores.sportbiketrackgear.com...+Injector+Sale

$40 gauntlets folks...get it while it's hot. Sportbiketrackgear.com is a fantastic website and I've ordered from there before. There's even a review video that they provide for the product. This thing looks like a hell of a deal. Take advantage!

i have their top glove, the adrenaline.

the injectors look to be one step down, but still a great glove at a crazy price.

lawl. I just ordered a pair of Yoshimura short-cuff mesh gloves from bike bandit for $28, making 4 pairs. This is also too good to beat and I need a full cuff that's not heavily insulated for the winter... guess I'll make it 5

Thanks for pointing out great deals Flash!

Once I get 'em in I can give you a little of a comparison. I've got an OLD pair of short-cuff A* gloves (no idea what model) in large that fits me pretty well. Got this in M, hoping I don't with up with two pairs trying to get the sizing right. Probably will though, have fingers slightly longer than average for my hand width

From what I gathered from the video, these are "true" fitting gloves. For A* I usually need to wear an XL, or even a XXL in the case of the GP Pro glove. Most other gloves I usually go with an L. I ordered a size large with these gloves so when they get here, I'll let you know how it fits. It might be a week or so, though.

I ordered them with the same thought process. I am wearing a size XL Alpinestars SMX6 glove right now, so I ordered a Large.

LOL that's lucky AND unlucky. That's a great place and I've heard good things about their store. I'd probably be there everyday as well. My condolences

Compared to something from A* you're probably looking at one size down on Cortech. I have a jacket and gloves from them and their small jacket is like a size 40 us (medium) and their small gloves is size 8 which again is like medium in other brands.

I just got an e-mail from New Enough about the same gloves, "Cortech by Tour Master Injector Gloves", for the same price, $39.99

http://www.newenough.com/street/clos...le_gloves.html

It's always good to have options.

I actually just ordered them from NewEnough... I'll let you know what I think of them... I have Teknic leather gauntlets (no perforation or airflow at all) and some Joe Rocket mesh gloves with no protection (not using them anymore).. so I needed something that flows air with good protection.. these seem to fit the bill.. plus dealing with NewEnough is always a pleasure... easy decision...

Yeah... I'd strongly suggest NewEnough as well over SBTG. Got their e-mail a couple days after I ordered from SBTG. It shipped *yesterday,* a week after I placed my order, and should get here sometime next week. My experience with NewEnough is that if I'd ordered when I got the e-mail, they'd already be here and for less shipping cost.

I ordered my last pair of gloves from SBTG.. and I would def order from them again.. plus they have great video reviews of the stuff that they sell.. but NewEnough has always gone above and beyond my expectations... so they get my business first... then I check SBTG...

I could have used these gloves today! So hot out...

LOL yea I got that email too. I'm actually quite surprised at the delay. They're usually fairly quick about everything. Oh well....

I've had experiences with both SBTG and New Enough, and I like both a lot. New Enough always packs their gear in very well...and they ALWAYS include the hangers for coats, pants etc (at least with the Scorpion stuff I've ordered). I love that.

Yep, love that. Dunno if it's the vendor's option to remove the hanger, but like it when they do. Also like that Icon included a hanger-clip for the gloves I ordered.

Anyway, back to topic. Rec'd my Injector gloves this morning. You definitely get what you pay for. They're fairly comfy, but the leather feels slick/dry. I should be able to treat 'em with some leather products to fix that but it's probably the least-grippy pair of gloves I have. Might help out in a slide though, prevent you from getting hung up on asphalt friction and twisting your arm. The pads feel reasonably dense to do what they need to. The knuckle protector looks a little shoddily-assembled/attached as there's a couple gaps between that and the rest of the glove where I can see the glue. That said, it's a little less rigid than the CF knuckle guards I have on a couple other pairs, but if it's there to absorb impact in addition to providing hard protection, I expect it'll do the job. The matte rubbery finish just rubbed off of the knuckle guard leaving a shiny surface, minus the joint between knuckles which is still textured. The plastic finger vent-bumps seem a little oddly placed but don't seem to obstruct movement so not an issue. Stitching looks ok and the fit's good. I'd trust these for a single spill.

In short, not bad for $40 when 'good/great' full-gauntlet gloves will run $120+

Just got my set in today. I ordered on the 17th so thats about 2 weeks....mind you i'm up in Canada, and I only received shipping notice early last week.

Anyway, to add what Momaru has already said, the leather is on the thin and plastic-ey side, with the leather on the palm being of slightly better, more supple quality. I still think this glove will hold up well in a crash, as most full leather gauntlets fail at the stitching anyway. There's tons of overlapping protective layers on the palm, as you'd find with most of the mid to high end gloves these days, and also tons of perforations.

The knuckle protection looks like it's just mold injected plastic, but it's thick and should do fine in a typical street crash. It looks like they used double stitching everywhere, and the stitches on the fingers are internal.

The size is big. Even compared to Icon, I'd say their stuff is a half size to a full size-and-a-half (compared to A*) larger than the usual fare on the market. I probably could've fit well into a medium size with this glove, but the large I ordered isn't overly bulky or clumsy so it'll do nicely.

The liner is nice. It's not a super bulky liner that they'd have inside a cold weather glove, and only the cuff and top-side of the interior is lined, with the palm being bare leather. This is good IMO because you don't have the extra bulk of the linear causing mayhem on your ability to feel the controls.

All in all for $40 this is a mighty fine glove. I'm into cheap gauntlets...the last set I bought were about $60 from a local manufacturer. Good leather and protection...comparable to the Cortechs...but nowhere near as comfy. Definitely worth the price of admission folks! Cheap enough for you to buy two sets

I also just got mine today. I would say the sizing is accurate. I wear X-Large in Alpinestars and the Cortech Large I ordered fit fine. The fingers were a bit short, but that's because I have longer fingers. I need to get in some more rides to be able to break them in.

got mine today as well.. I like them.. the small mid strap on mine looked like it had been sliced during production.. the stitches on that one piece were broken too... NewEnough is sending another set to me.. and that set it already on its way back.. pity... I was planning on testing them out tomorrow...

I do think they are good gloves.. I did a quick video of them too I have to upload... right before I sent them back lol..

I have the chicanes.. they are great.. knuckle protector is better than the Cortech.. but there are no perforations.. I used them in late winter/early spring to now in the summer, but Im sure that cortechs will be more comfortable..

I actually have a comparison of both on teh video.. quick one though..
