indeed.... My carbs are almost off Gorden ! do I need to do anything other than box them up and send them to your address ?
and how much are you charging for 2012 250R carb cleaning ?
I know it depends on how much is needed jets and all but a rough idea would be nice....
and how long will it take ? I'll use USPS as it is the safest here Fed ex steals stuff and UPS takes a week longer ! as they only come up here once a week

..... as I do believe they need soda blasted real good ....those lines in the carb are open but very restricted I think....

a set of EX500 carbs completed today. Brass tuning components came out perfect (refurbed/reused all factory stuff) , synch tweaked perfect, both slide and wet testing perfect. These'll be fine runners, with a long service life ahead.

Just set float heights to 14mm spec on a set of Keihin CR specials, ordered new float bowl gaskets. To be ready to ship back when they're in.

I agree and those carbs were fairly well screwed up guys !
Gordon is an expert with these things far better than I am so he got them !

64f .....just hit the high for today. Not goin' anywhere. Waiting on ultrasonic, then onward to the (unheated garage) final blasting phase.

It’s about that time now.. bike runs but adjusting the idle screw has no effect on idle speed.. it will sorta hunt up and down.. the throttle seems to hang a little and if you close the throttle more when you release it, that kills the bike.

Owner reports these Ducati 900SS carbs I'm doing sat filled with fuel, unrun for 13 years .....and I have no doubt. Removing parts difficult at best, what with the buildup of darkened, stale, near solid fuel. Looking forward to some clean results.
