Just picked up my bike yesterday :)
Hey everyone!
Whats goin on, I'm Matt, 23 years old from New York City. Just picked up my 2011 white ninja 250 yesterday! put about 50 miles on her since then. Its my first bike so i didnt want to get a zx6r cause i was afraid its too much 'bike' for me..i wanna play it safe and really learn how to ride. I took the MSF course last weekend and passed it with a few points off...i went out of the box slightly on those damn figure 8's! lol Everything has been going well as far as riding is concerned...i guess it helps that my last 2 cars and my current one have been manual transmissions. Yesterday when i pulled out of Kawi i was kinda nervous because i have never ridden in the streets before and it was rush-hour traffic...but once i started moving everything kinda calmed down for me and i had an excellent ride home. i especially enjoy the postive neutral finder in this bike...makes it a breeze lookin forward to meeting people from around the tri state! use the downtime to become familiar with your bike. reading the owner's manual from front back is a great way.

just an update...
i sold my bike this past saturday and today i bought a cbr600rr from the dealer. it was fun! thanks for the welcome guys
