Garage Swag

Who has some good garage swag? Homemade lifts or other helpful items. I am about to really tear into my garage. Got any ideas you would like to share? My garage is a single care with enough extra space to park 5 bikes and a storage loft.

If you got a cool garage, feel free to post a pic please. I need all the ideas I can get.

Current plans;

2 bike pulley lifts (for dirt bikes) Something like this maybe, looking for ideas

Lift table

Lighting
Dunno, I have just the basic fluorescent lights and a couple of drop lights but it's not really bright enough for my old eyes.

I have a super sick setup but I picture till I get home. When you say dirt bikes do you mean dirt bikes or mountain bicycles?

Have 6 bicycles hanging, endless storage shelving, work benches, solvent parts warshing tanks, 12 ton press, drill press, overhead electric motor wench, all florencent lighting, centralized air compressor with several remote 25' hose reels, and......oh yeah a beer fridge

2 dirt bikes 200cc and 80cc

I need some more shelving and a cabinet or 2. Now that the home remodel is coming to an end I think it's time for some garage upgrades.

I got the beer fridge covered the day I moved into this house, it went in the garage before the car did. Then I kicked the car out for more bikes.

When I design my own house in the future (probs in 10-12 years or so) i'm going to see if I can create a place INSIDE the house that will be a storage/lift/showcase. Thinking a glass box built into the wall/ceiling with a glass floor type elevator. Ride bike onto lift, press button and have bike lift up into the box as a showpiece

hey, a guy can dream right?

That is cool but I was thinking more like this. (finally found the pic I was originally looking for)

@choneofakind - recognize the track on the left?

EDIT: I think I will put and paint the rumbles in too.

You bet I do! I want to do something like that for my dorm room. I have the paper with the track on it still. Maybe I'll use that as a template and attempt to make one over break.

I epoxied my garage floor when I moved in. It makes cleaning up spills a simple task. No need to worry about grease/oil sinking into concrete.

I know a guy who has Ducati 999 and Bimota hanging on the wall and a hydraulic bike lift that recesses into the floor when not in use. Also has a lift that stores bikes above the cars. Thats pretty good swag.

NEW STABLE for the GIRLS (PICS)

I just moved in to a new house and now I have a 2 car garage. I am all excited to set up a corner in the garage dedicated just to the motorcycles and gear.

Thinking along those lines, I thought a thread with some pics of some cool garages, garage ideas, storage ideas, or anything that pertains to a cool motorcycle garage/storage may be cool. Odd storage ideas/places would also be fun to see.

Many of us baby our bikes so much I figured some of you out there may have some cool stables.

Ill start with pics of my OLD STABLE...it was a rental home so nothing fancy. Ill update with pics of the NEW STABLE once I set it up.

Your flag looks mighty familiar.......

I love my garage. Nice floor from my wife for Christmas, computer in the back for youtube, movies, music, or pdf repair manuals, got a few lawn chairs hidden for company....

A $50 projector from craigslist had us watching youtube and playing video game on a 120 inch screen on the inside of my garage door. Add a few beers and it's the perfect man cave!

If you're a hands on guy I would copy Jason's garage.

If you just like bikes get some wheel stand/chocks so the bikes will be upright and you have more space. Then put a bar and some tunes in your garage so you can hang out there.

My double garage has been converted to a cinema room with seating for ~10 in 2 rows of recliners with self built riser.

3.5m wide fixed screen etc. No pics of how the cinema room is currently.

Ninjette lives in a storage space outside the cinema room but still inside the roller door.

Don't stress tho, I have a 12x6m shed including man cave (~2bays), with pool table, poker table, dart board, tv etc, so that leaves 3 car spaces with individual roller doors, and room for another 1 car from access via another roller door on the end. Coule fit 2 cars if I move the ride on mower

Oh and I have a car hoist Gota have one for the 2 x z32's

Hoist is in the right-most roller door. Man cave is the glass sliding door

Still a work in progress! Found a couple pics of the riser in the cinema room

Since these were taken we dressed the overhang of the riser with strip led lights and painted the whole room (dark, dark purple walls and flat black ceiling and front wall around screen), and put a massive rug on the floor. Still need to do curtails and sound treatment. The room was very echo-y before we put the massive recliners in, so much so I was very worried about acoustics, but it is much better now, so much so I don't really need the curtains but I like them for the look.

The curtains/carpet do cut down a lot of the reverb in a live room.
I find the sound is more realistic with those treatment.
