My Ninjette, transporting The Dude, in front of the statue of Sir Garry Sobers (perhaps the best cricketer of all time - once went 365 not out - only @akima and handful of those in UK or former colonies will appreciate this ) at Kensington Oval in Barbados.

Your Ninjette with a dog - but not your dog - on it. ATGATT optional, no stuffed animals, bike doesn't have to be moving.

For reference, because I had to scour the thread and read numerous debates about rules to get up to speed being new to the thread. Here is what the original OP referenced as rules for the game from the ZX forums:

Quote:
Rules/Regulations of participation:

The focus of this thread is simple. Name a place or thing to take a picture with your [Ninjette]. First person to go out, take, and post the picture gets to choose the next photo challenge.

A new challenge must be picked when picture of the last one was posted. This means you MUST include the new specific challenge at the bottom of your posts. Failure to do so not only delays the next challenge, but also frustrates other thread participants.

Please, do not to make your challenge impossible! This means:

No action oriented photos. (i.e. your [Ninjette] riding a wheelie)
No unsafe act "squidding" photos. (i.e. your [Ninjette] riding a wheelie while being set on fire)
No nudity or pornographic material. (bikini babes are always welcome!)
No extravagant landmarks. (i.e. your [Ninjette] on Mt. Everest)

If no other member successfully captures the picture within 24 hours, a new challenge will be dictated by a thread moderator.

Once a valid picture is submitted by any one member, we move on to the next challenge.

Other:
Please keep all off-topic discussions out of this thread. While some discussion will be permitted, excessive or non-related posts by forum members will be dealt with accordingly. Please understand excessive posting makes the thread longer than necessary and deters potential participants.

No photo bashing:
Don't make fun of or jeer your fellow [Ninjette] member rides.

Photo integrity:
Valid photos must be larger than 250 pixels wide by 250 pixels high. More than one picture can be submitted to validate or "win" the challenge. If there are complaints about the integrity of a submitted photo because it appears to be fabricated (photoshopped) in any fashion, the submission will be deemed unacceptable and will be denied. Submission points will also be deducted for any fabricated photos which are entered into the thread.
Also, we should probably pick a thread moderator to make this go more smoothly than it has (unless I've missed that being new to the thread) since OP isn't here anymore. It should be someone who is a regular participant here and generally level headed. Since I've got cricket on the brain, what do we think about Akima? Other volunteers?

Ah, finally someone else that's looked up the original rules the game was based on. I've tried to fill the roll of pseudo-moderator since the original moderator no longer posts on here. Of course that is what has lead to those debates because others wanted to run the game their way instead of the way the OP had intended. So feel free to try and moderate it, I'll still be here to try and help guide it toward what the OP and original moderator had intended.

This is where different opinions come into play, IMO with the season winding down I believe 24 hours isnt long enough to meet a challenge. I understand wanting to keep the thread alive mabye a vote should be taken on a duration or challenges? But take what I say with a grain of salt, as Im done for the season anyway. Back to your regular scheduled program.

Well I had initially put out 3 days and most accepted that. Problem was we continued to have issues in enforcing ANY time restriction. So I still put out the idea of 3 days for regular riding season and perhaps a 1 week rule for non-season?

I'm happy to moderate ( honoured you suggested me! )

The rules seem perfectly reasonable. I think though we should give people 72 hours (as suggested) to complete the challenge instead of 24.

The deadline for this challenge has been exceeded.

As per paragraph 5 of the "Rules/Regulations of participation" (source), a new challenge must be dictated by a thread moderator. (I could be a lawyer lol)

New challenge:
Your Ninja on the roof of a multi-story carpark.

You have 72 hours and counting to complete the challenge.

Take your time on the shot and get a really nice picture!

Edit: Weird!! I just realised I posted this at exactly 11:11 (GMT)... on 11/11/11.

I took a bunch of pictures at two different locations and I kind of want to share all of them. They all look great!

If this is good, next challenge: Your bike with someone very old(80+) sitting on it. (ATGATT if possible)

Does it have to be someone we know? Or can it be random?

If so, looks like I'm headed to a nursing home after work today. See who I can lure in.

On a side note, anyone who has an aftermarket exhaust, I strongly recommend you go find a parking garage and drive around in it. It sounds amazing!

The rules aren't exactly restrictive lol and you don't have to worry about them, only myself and sombo do. Enjoy the game and stop whining!

It's not any different than it was before. I've trying to hold the game as close to the original rules as possible the whole time. We never added any rules, just modified some of the original ones to make it more relaxed. In case you didn't notice, the original rules this game was based on only allowed for 24hrs for each challenge. We ALL agreed that we would extend it, 3 days for the regular riding season, and up to 1 week for the non-riding season. Now I have both backup (SQUIRREL POWER!!!) and more consent (and hopefully more cooperation as well) on that front, so hopefully things will just go nice and smooth.

What I was commenting about was the current challenge. Fragile old people + easy to knock over and damage bike = possible bad things happening. That's all I see. I'm not gonna try to stop anyone from doing it, just concerned about it is all.

More than 72 hour hours have passed since the old-person challenge was set and no one got it, so I'm setting a new one. Nice and easy:

Your Ninjette next to a water fountain or any other decorative out-door water feature.

You have until early-morning on Thursday (USA time) to get this one. It's 72 hours as usual.

Tempting to put an 80 year old with a dog in front of a fountain, just to wrap up a few of them at once.

Sorry if this has been covered since there're a lot of pages to try to sift through, but do you guys consider it valid with bikes that aren't ninjettes (Or even kawasakis)? All I've got for street riding is my SV, but I want to play and don't want to sign up for a stupid suzuki forum T_T

The rules say that it has to be a Ninjette, but I want you to join in too!

Hmm... the game requires a "picture of your Ninjette" not the Ninjette itself. The rules don't say anything about not allowing a "picture of a picture of your Ninjette". Maybe you could print out a picture of your Ninjette and tape it to your suzuki for the shot?

What do you think @sombo?

I'd say since she *was* a 250 rider it'd be cool, atleast it keeps the game moving. But thats just an opinion of a humble noob.
