Occasionally shifts to neutral from 1st to 2nd

I have an interesting thing that has happened to me on ocasion. Sometimes when I am accelerating fairly hard, my bike shifts from 1st to neutral rather than to 2nd. I know im applying enough pressure to the shifter so it will go into 2nd, but It still does it. Usually only on hard acceleration. other than that its fine when shifting and I haven't had any other problems with it.

Bumps and stuff do this for me, i'm sometimes in second and a pothole will take me into neutral.

This happens to me on ocassion between 2-3 under WOT but usually miss shifts and stays in 2nd instead of going to third..also happens between 3-4. It rarely ever goes into nuetral but just missing engagement between gears. I chock it up to just being a typical Kawi tranny. I was spoiled with Hondas when I raced offroad..bare none best shifting...every Kawi MX bike I owned had notchy shifting.

Try being mindful when shifting making sure you follow through all the way with your shift. If your still popping into N then it could possibly be an internal problem. Adjusting your shifter can help quite a bit.

Alright this makes me feel better about it. Every time it happened I would pull over and let it sit for a minute haha. Thanks!

Yeah. I still do that sometimes. Nothing is funnier than hearing me take off hard in first then rev the piss out of the imaginary gear before 2nd

I have this happen occasionally, but do yall ever have the problem where you cant get into to go into gear? Like it'll be either stuck in neutral or a different gear. I have to let out the clutch some if its in gear, and then pull it back in and switch gears.

Never when in motion, but at stops i think it is pretty common and a simple rocking back and forth with the clutch in will allow you to get the bike to shift.
