Mirrors w/ Integrated Turn Signals

Anyone got some that are nice? Where'd you get 'em? How do you like 'em? Got any pics?

I'm EXTREMELY interested in doing up this mod, but I've only been able to find some on eBay, and I question the quality, since I don't know anyone that's used them...

A couple people have done it. There are 3 DIY''s in the DIY Sticky Thread at the top of the tech section dealing with integrated signal mirrors. I think some of them look pretty good...

I got them from one of the DIYs...

http://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?t=77788

this one here.

They look nice and the LEDs look good and are fairly visible at night. The wiring was a slight pain in the butt as the wires are VERY thin and they're not too long so you don't have a whole lot of extra to work with. The mirrors aren't horrible but they're not as good (don't give you as much view) as the stock ones. I personally got over that.

I will say though that the install was a bit of a PITA because of some of the modding you have to do to get them to fit and they're not of super great quality. I was wheeling my bike into my friends backyard, the mirror TAPPED his trash can and broke off at the stalk. Probably fixable but I haven't tried yet.

Are they worth it?
Maybe. I really like having front facing signals and the gloss look matches the bike much better although the overall shape doesn't look as good as the stock ones. It's a matter of preference. Just keep in mind there can (and probably will) be shenanigans involved and they are delicate.

How's that for a quick novel?

I've had mine on for about 5 months now and no real dramas, but then again i didn't hit anything with them yet.

I agree with Trailerboy's comments above about them not being as good as OEM but you get used to them, and all of my cars have had smaller than OEM mirrors on them so no biggie for me personally. The install is only a PITA because of all the crap we have to take off to get to the mirrors, otherwise pretty straight forward, just 2 extra wires, mine were fine for length

I high sided today by hitting the back of someone's car. For relevance in this thread the moment i hit them (the mirror itself touched nothing) the mirror broke off at the stem. Like I said before....cheaply made.

Ebay carbon intergrated leds mirrors, I wired them in with the oem, and mounted the oem inside the fairings so it flashes through, use the oem mounts for the mirrors, the ones that come with it are ugly.I

got mine from the2wheels when I ordered levers.
I used the mounts that came with them and drilled right in the center so you can not see the wires. If I ever go back to stock you will never be able to tell.
I also used factory connectors and a Y adaptor for my flush mounts.
