Took the ninjette out for a ride after work!

I got a chance to hit some wide open road and a few twisties after work. It's out in the country, so the road is pretty much empty. I got home after work, and right before I was about to go inside, I realized it's too much of a perfect evening to NOT ride.

I've had the bike for about a month now, and I'm totally obsessed with it. I used to consider myself a big "car" guy, and loved driving my speed 3...but I now think motorcycling is my new passion. Hitting corners leaned over, high in revs is ultimate freedom. There's something about being fully engaged corner to corner that's unmatched by anything else.

I'm done rambling now- here's some pics.

If I ever get abducted by aliens and sent to a new planet, that's how I imagined it to be. The colors in the background is stunning! Awesome shots!

Thanks! I can't believe how lucky I am to get beautiful sunsets on an almost daily basis. There's more pictures to come.

Good looking bike and gorgeous pictures!

That's a thing I like about the bike, too, that feeling of being fully engaged in my ride. People have tried to convince me to hook up my headset to my phone but I'm not interested in it at all when I'm riding. I don't even want to *know* if it rings. Don't care. I don't even need music when I ride. I like it for riding with my honey, but not for my phone.

Just me and the road and I'm good.

I have to say I agree.

Actually, I wrote something about that recently... I was going to make it a blog post here, but it seems like I don't have the ability to post to a blog? It says in the FAQ that if I did, there'd be a "post to blog" option under the blog sidebar, but I don't see it...

Top of the page click Blogs, then Your Blogs.

On the left, click Post to Your Blog.

That's what I don't have.

I have Your Blog (which just takes me back to the same page), Subscribe to this Blog, View RSS Feed, Mark this Blog Read and Blog Control Panel.

Blog Control Panel gives me various options but doesn't actually let me post.

Nevermind, found the info. Looks like you've got to wait a little bit longer.

To combat this new attack vector, I've made some small changes to the blog area. First - a user here must meet the Marketplace requirements to be able to add any blog entries (25+ posts, been here 30 days). Next, I've put all new blog entries into the moderation queue, so nothing gets posted in the blogs without approval. I'm hoping to remove that second requirement at some point, but in the short term, please bear with me.

Ah, okay.

Welp, I can wait. Will probably have a few things queued up then. Thanks for finding that!

Having a hard time...

...deciding which is prettier... your bike or the scenery behind it!

Great shots!
