Made too* much money and you can't afford a bike, huh? Yes, this makes perfect sense.

Ha, I was thinking the same thing. I feel real bad that you "made too much money last year" and now you can't afford a new bike.

No the fact that I made to much money last year screwed up my tax return so I am no longer able to purchase me a bike (wanted to buy it outright) so now im back to square 1 all my gear and not enough cash to buy me one lol

While buying vehicles outright is nice, why not finance?

Gap insurance? I think the mandatory insurance shouldn't be too bad for a 250 right?

Why would there be gap insurance? It's for a purchase when the buyer is upside down on a trade-in. I suppose it could be added without a trade-in but I've never heard of it. At 5 years, your payment would be a little over $100 a month. If you'd rather do 3 years, around $160 a month.

Buyer is upside down?
Maybe he shouldn't be riding motorcycles?

Acrually I was planning on buying a used bike but the cheapest 250/500/650 ninjas in my area are running between 2-4k and I got back way less than I planned on. Reason im not wanting a new bike is due to the cost of insurance. That and I figured if I get a used one that'll be less money upfront due to some one else breaking it in for me lol

Have you considered saving instead of relying on a tax refund?

Might be worth looking into

I have been saving just the tax return was what would give me the ammount that I would need for the bike and a year of insurance upfront
