New from Missouri
Hey All!
My name is Thomas, I am in the Active Duty Air Force and currently stationed in Missouri. I don't have a motorcycle right now but am pretty sure that when I get one again it is going to be an 08+ Ninja 250. I had a 08 Ninja 650R in the past and unfortunately had to part ways with it. I actually have a question for you all, do you think that a Ninja 250 will be "not enough" so to speak for me? Being that I already had a 650? I mainly just want it to commute and for pleasure riding, I am in no way a going to be racing this thing haha. Thanks for you advice in advance! -Thomas |

I'm from Missouri also, where are you stationed? As for the 250 not being enough I sold my 600cbr so that I could buy a newer ninja. It is plenty fun to ride and will still get you in trouble if your not careful just ask my 30 over speeding ticket. I do wish I still had a supersport and plan on buying one but I will be keeping the 250 for going back and forth to work. Just can't beat the average 55mpg

The 250 will be enough but you may get some ridicule from your friends. I love mine. If I rode my zx10 like I do my 250 I would probably be dead or at very least severely mangled right now.

Hey All! Thanks for the warm welcome. Sorry for my delayed response. Work has been a little busy lately. I am stationed at Whiteman Air force base. Its about seventy miles directly east of KC.
