MCRA Track Days / 250 Racing Series is on!!!

The registration for our track days and (250) racing series is up and running y'all !!!

Missouri Gold Buyers, Inc. is the 2013 series sponsor. They along with Surdyke Yamaha, Big St. Charles Motorsports, and several others have kicked in some $$$ for RACE PAYOUTS for P1 through P3 (at least, maybe down to P5 but don't quote me)!!!!

So c'mon, sign up and get down with it at Putnam Park, and Gateway Motorsports Park this year!!!!!!!!!!!

I know we're gonna see CSMITH there (<- NOT the "you" function. Yes, you csmith!!)... Right??!!

EDIT: Oh yeah, and there is Pirelli tire contingency redeemed AT THE TRACK with Good Grip Racing.

I'll be at HPT that weekend in preparation for the CCS races in early May. However, I should be able to make it out to gateway for a weekend with MCRA at some point.

I'm running the Novice session as the lead control rider. We have a pretty good program going this year. I'll be doing a couple A sessions also.

Great race today. Me and another were nose to tail, back and forth the whole race. I have video of it that ill post later.

The 250 is such a fun bike to ride! I'm glad I decided to do it. Looking at breaking into the 1:27 tomorrow. Closest I got today was a 1:28.008.

Best I did so far was a 1:33.

Wish I could have mixed it up more with you guys but I watched the rest of the race from the corner station in turn 9, out of gas

Some light contact between me and @Vitamin-E but no real harm done. Was a great day, can't wait for tomorrow.

What a great weekend. First time on the track with a 250 and could have had a better time riding a "big" bike. Another great race of back and forth. I lost moment to a lapped going into turn one on the last lap and couldn't catch back up. Another second place for me. Both of us up front got 1:27.1 on the last two laps.

Chris, what happened to you in turn 1?

Tucked the front, I should have put on new tires for the pace I was trying to push. Totally my fault. My lil ninja is fast!!! After my sh*t start... I went from 6th to 3rd all at the end of the straight. lol But then I fall down and go boom. I only had enough time to get one blip down before turn in. Thought it would hold but it didn't.

Elliott should be posting the vid when he can. The way he was talking, it's gunna be good one.

Bike is cool, will need a bar and brake lever. And I am not hurt at all aside of the very tip of my ring finger, swollen a little.

I saw that you did a big wheelie on the start. Glad you and the bike are ok. Elliot will have the last lap where Justin got in front of him just before turn one. That was the deciding factor on the outcome of the race. Justin got in front of him just before tip in and I had to back off leaving Eliot between me and Justin till I went under Eliot in two or three. I lost to much drive and Justin got to far ahead if me. If I could have made a clean pass on Elliot into turn one, it would have been a nail biter last lap.

I have both front and rear video of the race. It will be a little while before I get it up.

In the first pic is my friend behind me. We went out in the A group and he was amazed at the corner speed I was doing. He's getting his wife a 250 for the track.
