Left turn signals not working properly

I brought my bike in for a proper cleaning of the carbs and when I got home later after picking it up when it was ready I noticed the left turn signlas (back and front) were't working properly. the front one won't even turn on, and the rear one doesn't blink. Also, the light on the 'dashboard' won't blink either, just stays on.
The right signals work fine and the one on the dashboard as well for the right.

Before I open her up, I'm wondering what I should be looking for.. I'm a big noob with bikes. I don't want to have to bring it back in at the shop, I want to do it myself.

Thanks

did you forget to reconnect the connector for the blinker when you put the fairing back on?

it's happened to me more than once... I'm a slow learner.

take the side panel off and usually the connector is sitting right there.

While I was doing some carb tuning, I road around without front signals. The rear signal lights did the same as you described. The connection might be accessible without taking off the fairing. Look right where the black side panel(below the seat) meets the fairing.

Signal is either blown, disconnected, or shorted.

haha I feel stupid for posting a thread about this in the first place. The wires weren't even connected. works fine now after the 15 seconds it took to take the side panel off.
my ego took a small hit though
