Yeah I know you've worn the twist of fate and liked it. That's what they rent at Mid-O I think. I'm liking the sounds of the new Triple Crown suit since it seems to be on the same level as the Twist of Fate.

I think I'ma do it in late May or early June.

im gonna bump this because I am on the prowl for a budget suit or leather pants. I need that and boots. I sold my street boots cause I thought I wasnt gonna get another street bike.. Im a dumb ass. but you guys with suits do you think a 40 would even fit me.? I have a weird ass body.

5'6'' 160ish 32-34 waist depending on pants. and I think like a 30 or 29" inseem. My chest and shoulders are large for my height. I do have a little belly, and fat thighs, with tiny calves..

gawd idk what would even fit me and there is nothing local. I want a suit or pants soon because I want to start riding with my friends and there is no freaking way im riding up the canyon without pants/suit and boots. Just not gonna happen. Your opinions are appreciated.

You might have an easier time with a two piece suit. I have a size 40 one piece by Cortech. I'm 5'9", 155 lbs, 32" waist, and 38-39" chest. I can stuff a Forcefield Pro Sub 4 back protector in it, but it is snug at that point. All of the armor is where it is supposed to be and doesn't move. If you were to get a size larger to accommodate your chest, you'd have some other things out of proportion. With a two piece you can order a different size in pants and jacket to get a better fit. I'm a fan of AGV Sport gear. Great bang for the buck gear. My first leather pants were the Willow non-perforated. I picked then up for $180. The are definitively have better construction and materials than the Bilt and Sedici pants you'll find at Cycle Gear. I also have the Tornado leather jacket that fits great - it only has a 8" connection zipper at the waist though. It was $315 if I remember correctly. Some of their other jackets have a full circumference zipper for less investment. I've had the pants since October of 2011 and they still look new despite the mileage. The jacket is about 8 months old and looks great as well. I do clean them after every ride though and I'm sure that helps.

You can try a custom suit, but you aren't talking $450-$600 price range anymore.

I'll probably have to try some on... In don't see another way. I ghetto measured myself and my chest is like 38-39" waist is like 37" (if I measured in the right place. I wear a 33 pant generally) inseam 29" and thighs like 22".

Shiiiit maybe I will.try and find some pants. And nice but cheap leather pants anyone?

I wear size 31-32 jeans with a 30" inseam. Don't forget to take a deep breath when you measure your chest. That will give you extra room for a back protector. These are the ones I have: http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/a...-leather-pants

Look at spartan suits for a custom fit in your budget. Your gunna be 40 or 42 most likely. I like the way geeker is steering you.

I hadn't really heard of them but Nick was actually telling me about them. Ill have to look them up.

I am steering towards those AGV pants. They seem like a really good deal. I posted in another thread about thinking what Im going to get.

Granted. I DO want a suit asap, BUT I do already have a jacket and I want to get something sooner than later and those pants seem to be a good price. I JUST WANNA RIDE!
