Installed Intuitive Frame Sliders!
This is my first thread on this site and I thought I would share some pics after I installed the new frame sliders. Here they are......
-Nick- Bike on the rear stand: Making sure everything is aligned correctly with the use of a 3/16 drill bit that's 12 inches in length: Ready to put the fairings back on: All Done: One last shot with my other bike (my heavily modded 2004 Yamaha FZ6): |

Cool!!
I assume that you went by the DIY. Did you have any "issues" getting it done?

I did follow the DIY, but that did not mention how to align everything up. Once you mentioned to use the drill bit trick, everything went smoothly. -Nick- Posted via Mobile Device |

...wouldn't you be able to accomplish the same thing using a long Phillips screwdriver?
welcome to the board, Nick. |

Yes, anything that's 12 inches or longer would do the trick. I did not want to bother with a screwdriver because the handle might get in the way.......just my opinion though. -Nick- |

okay... just trying to give her some options instead of having her think she needs a drill bit to accomplish a successful install.
good work on the bike. looks killer... even if it is black! |

jus givin ya' a hard time... you'll find a friendly (?) rivalry of bike colors on this forum, brought on by the others not knowing that green is the fastest color of them all.

yeah, everyone does... it's also well known it needs that 7th gear just to keep up with the other colors... and it almost does.

Great pics.
Just a few questions on the Yamaha, what kind of mods does it have?
