What headlight bulbs do the gen1 bikes have?

I'm making something that will work either model but I need to know the configuration of the gen1 to make it plug and play.

My MSF teacher would stick a can of chef boyardee on his exhaust pipes/ engines to heat up his food.

I ask because I'm working on doing a retrofit on my pregen. Your vinyl did a good temp job to control scatter, but the light is wasted I think.

Soooo, I'm getting a spare headlight, and an ebay bixenon preojector (a morimoto knockoff) and I'ma do it. SOOOOOO if you're doing something juicy that would be better than what I'm doing, lemme know

Well I hope to see something interesting!! I'll being doing my retrofit on a spare headlight. In the other thread you asked about measurements; once I get my spare headlight, I'll take some measurements for you. It might be 2 weeks or so though...

If your headlight ends up more interesting than mine, I'll just sell mine and buy yours

I'm not doing any retrofits or HID related stuff. It's something that will connect to the harness of the headlights for a power source. If you need help with the project, let me know. You can use my DIY as a guide. Separating the lights will be the same procedure. Just bake it at 250 for about 10 minutes and it should come apart pretty easily. Make sure you wear some oven gloves too.

Oh that makes more sense. I foresee something with LED's

I've read through your DIY plenty of times. That's where I really figured out what I was looking for, then looked into my headlight to figure that it didn't look too bad.

Yes. Make an announcement!!!

Aaannnd prepare for me to barrage you with PM's. I found a morimoto knock-off, and I've been reading about what bulbs work with my DDM kit and the projector. I'll also be asking you about your new product as well

Haha. Well, any d2s bulb will work with the morimoto/ knock off projectors. Just get a kit with the d2s bulb.

Hang on Tri, I'm working on my PM to ya. Pictures and everything.

I just want to know about the connectors from my DDM kit. I think they're the same as the connectors on a D2S bulb, but idk. Basically I already have the constant power, I have the H4 adapter, and I have an extra power hookup for the solenoid, I just need a different bulb and a projector. I think.

Tri,

ignore my PM's, unless you want to read them. I got it figured out with some more reading

I just ordered This projector, this D2S converter so I can keep using DDM wiring harness with these 35W 4300k D2S bulbs. I will have a spare bulb I just need to get my hands on a spare headlight so I can do this retrofit at school and plug it into my bike and aim it when I'm home for thanksgiving.
