what to do with old damaged fairings?

I have an assortment of extra plastics in various conditions from some minor cracks to rash...It doesn't feel right throwing them away, nor do I see myself using them in the near future, except for some fairings to use on the track...
Should I just box em up and hang on to em?

if you plan on tracking your bike..then definitely keep em

if not sell them, other trackers will buy them if priced right

Fiberglass em back together, finish with body filler, and do some crazy paintjobs for track fairings.

lol, then I'd have a wall full of fairings and none of them were good times. All stupid avoidable spills...
I'm considering trying to fix some on my own and get them painted. If I give them to someone to repair and paint its still cheaper buying the aftermarket ones.

I was considering this but for the cost of having them fixed, unless I did it myself its just not worth it...I got an aftermarket kit for bout 500 bucks and it fits perfect. I'm sure I could do a decent job of fixing them but never really tried something like that...bondo and a soldering iron?

Did you get one of the Chinese kits off eBay? How'd the install go? Quality issues? Just curious as I'm looking at some of those.

It is Chinese but not the ebay crap. http://www.motorcyclefairingsrus.com/
Fit was 100% accurate no problems lining up with the OEM pieces either. Finish is about 85%. You might see a tiny speck here or there upon close inspection but nothing major. Also they're not fully painted on the inside but who cares...
Can't complain when you're getting every plastic part on the bike including the dash pieces and side panels for less than what you'd pay for 2 OEM fairings...
