Help!! install fender eliminator
Oh great ninja sensei i need advise, got the reat seat and rear faring removed and trying to install Yoshimura fender eliminator. I have read and seen all threads relating to this but most of you just mention how easy it is and how simple the instructions are! I must have had one to many hits to the head growing up because i have run into an impass.
Directions say: 1. remove passenger seat and disconnect tail light, turn sigs, and lic plate lite. (done i think) 2. remove stock fender by removing 6 bolts. (i only see 4 hex and those are removed, where are the other two? 3. drill out the 2 rivets on the turn signal bracket attached to the fender? WTF? what rivets do they mean the phillips that holds the turn sigs on? so no sense going on with the rest although they look fairly easy to follow. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!!! |

1) you probably did it right
2) the other two are the two that hold the tail lights 3) there are two small metal rivets on each turn signal bracket. they're the only silver parts of the black bracket. I can't find a pic right now, but i'll try to take a pic of where they should be later. |

Not my picture, but here is a pic of one of the turn signal brackets. Within the red circles, are the two rivets that you have to drill out from each bracket.
