4 - Sellers, for best results, please read and follow these instructions:
  • Do not include the price in the title. You won't be able to edit it later. Put the price in the body of your post.
  • Don't just link your craigslist ad here. Copy/paste your ad to ninjette.org and make sure it includes the info below. (Reason for this: some companies stop people from going to certain 'popular' sites, craigslist/ebay/etc. being some of those sites; other sites may have not-work-safe links that may cause trouble for the viewer; craigslist ads expire after a week or two while info remains on ninjette.org, etc.)
  • Edit your original post and change the price there... many buyers will not look beyond that point if you change the price later on further into the thread. Also, remember to add SOLD to first line of the first post when the item has been sold.
  • If selling a motorcycle/vehicle, include the following in the body of the post: - Asking price - make - model - year - mileage - title info - current condition - maintenance history - accident history.
  • If selling riding gear, include: - size in the title of the thread. - in your post, include: body weight/height/inseam/waist range that best fits the item.
  • Please use the "Report this post" option at the bottom left portion of the thread if item is sold or to report erroneous posts or threads, and it will be taken care of.
  • With any indication that an item is sold, the thread will be locked. It is not fair to other valid ads to be pushed down the list when side discussions bump a sold ad to the top of the list. An admin will do their best in changing the title and adding a 'sold' to the beginning of the title to save a few clicks for others.

Seriously though... you realize that brand new 2012 250's are going for less than this now? Maybe like 3600-3800...

Yeah I get that, but still I asked the dealer when I was asking about the 300. Mine said with dealer fees and everything the 250's were at 4800 OTD. idk, minus the fact that it is the cool black and yellow paint job, I can't see getting that much for a used bike. 2012 or not, it's still used. Then again, people in Cali are insane.

There isn't a post in this thread that is in line with the marketplace rules. I'll leave them here for posterity, but no, you can't comment on the price that the OP posts up. No, your opinion on what he should price it at doesn't matter. The rules are clear, and are to benefit each and every one of the members in good standing here who might want to offer something for sale without having a bunch of fellow members ruin their thread.

Marketplace Forum Rules (an announcement right at the top of all of these forum areas)
