Why isn't stupidity a punishable offence?

I just parked my bike and sat down for a smoke. Looked over at the car next to me and it had 14/20 lug nuts holding the wheels on. Also had two baby seats in the back.

Never been one to threaten legal action but if I were somehow next to that car going along the highway at 60mph when one or all of his wheels fell off, and one of them caused me damage in any way, shape, or form -- I would feel obligated to sue that person for being an absolute moron.

14/20.... that's a new record. It's not uncommon to see a car missing one, maybe even two... but SIX?

What is your most blatant observation of moronic behavior?

After thinking about it I've realized that being stupid is kind of like being dead.

When you die, people cry, people feel the pain of loss (If you know anyone, lol) -- but it's not really your problem anymore because you're... well, dead.

Being stupid is the same way. People feel the pain of your severely lacking mental function, they are forced to deal with the grievous mistakes your behavior causes... but it's not really your fault because you're just... well, not able to notice

God help us all.

The way to cure stupidity in the human race is to remove warning labels from everything and let natural selection take its course.

Stupidity punishes itself everyday, no need to do more until it effects you.

I once saw a lady driving with a cig in one hand and cell phone in the other. I should add that her windows were up and a kid was in the backseat. I lost all hope for humanity that day

Doesn't it always end up hurting somewhere along the line?
