Is it May 9-13 or May 16-20 we're all meeting? It's been a long week, so it's easy to lose me.

There are sooo many better roads, less busy, less idiots, but you don't get your pretty picture taken.

I'm crashing in the "tail of the dragon resort" that someone posted a bit back. It's reasonably priced and close. Not to mention I like taking showers.

I was suppose to take a week off w my dad and ride, but due to other things happening we wont be able to. So it seems I have enough vaca time for this trip now.

I'm good with camping, or splitting rooms with people. We stayed at the Inn at the dragon for our first meet, it was fun, they offer camping as well. Can do night runs.

I hate that it's not a bit later in the season. I'd have everyone over for a lake party.

Oh, has anyone given thought to a safety meeting before the ride?

I'm planning to join you guys around lunchtime May 17, but due to work, I'll have to come back home Sunday. So I'll have one night there.
Are you all planning to overnight in the same place the whole time or different areas?

Not sure about free, but I think it's pretty cheap to camp here...plus there are showers and FANTASTIC dinner food!

This is where I plan to stay. If anyone wants to get a bunkhouse and split the cost, we could stay for practically nothing. the link isn't working for me right now, but I think 5-6 can stay in a bunkhouse.
http://ironhorsenc.com/

Edit: $15 to camp, $30 for a bunkhouse split several ways. if anyone is interested in bunking, let me know asap and I'll make reservations.

well if the bunk house sleeps 5 and is really 30$ then count me in.

If we get 5 people it would be 6$ per night. not bad.

I agree...even if we get 3 people, it's only $10 and we can still use the facility's showers. Plus it will lessen the amount of weight we have to carry around on the bikes. Win, win, win! Anyone else in for a bunkhouse?
