Yeah, this is pretty big, I'm not sure what I want to do. I don't really want to put anything on the new paint, but I need to do something! This is just what I had, split it in half and laid it down.

Yeah they are definitely off the back of a ninja 650, super easy to source for free because everyone wants and integrated tail light. Just make a friend of a 650 rider lol

Excellent! They would be a great mod for both sets of signals. I do like how they look, it's very cool when certain parts can work easily on other bikes. Good info.

I don't see how they would work on the back, for the Front I had to reshape the opening in the fairing, and modify the hold down on the 650 signal a little bit.

You can take the stems and the plates all apart very easily and modify them.
They came off the back of a ninja 650- A kid with a fender eliminator gave them too me with the license plate holder so I could put it on a dirt bike.

I couldn't get the dirt bike titled for the street so I used them on the ninjette with zip ties.

They are not direct blot on but the break down easily for modification.

Did you just need to reshape the back plate? Its been a long time since I have seen these parts.

More parts for this thing!

Woodcraft clipons (mounted all kinds of the wrong way!) Finally get me where I need to be.

Probably going to do the stainless lines and new (to me) Tokico 4 pot caliper and adapter soon.

The powder coating (toaster) oven keeps the shed bearable.

I ended up switching the bars around a bit more, and may still need to change them again!

I also picked up a nice leather Corbin seat, It's getting super close to being the bike I want!

adding in some more stuff to do.

I knew I never should have even though about being done with this bike.

Going to attempt mounting a Ninja 650 wheel. the wheel, some spacer material, bearings and whatnot are on their way!

Thanks to @subxero this got stuck in my head!

Thank you, the hope is for paint this year, Cadillac Pearl White, with maybe some orange flake in the pearl.

Wheel attempt starting.

The wide wheel project will not necessarily be as easy as expected, but I still think I can do it.

Chain lines up (based on slider)

Barely any room for caliper stay

Overall it's centered well enough. Maybe shim swing arm over if possible. Haven't messed with the bike at all yet.

But what about when you mount the tire? You think it'll rub from the front?

Tons of room up there, it's the width of the wheel center that's the biggest issue. I'm measuring the swing arm though, it looks like my mock up part may be bent.

Today the rear set adapters were installed.

Before:

After:

I wish I didn't have to move them up, just back would have been perfect, but now my legs fit under the tank better. I think that's the last ergo mod I planned.

I'm getting ready for my 2000 mile trip first week of May. Oil change, new spark plugs, check valves, wire up lighter socket, dual usb ports, and my auxiliary lights.

Naked!

Lights mounted

Wired up

Night time

All lights

Low beam only

USB and lighter socket

Thanks, I have yet to ride with them, but I like the extra light.

Got the stands, and changed out the cracked front wheel and the brakes.
