Will a 08-12 Engine fit in a 07 Ninja?

Okay, simple question. Does a 08-12 engine fit in a pregen? Also, what is the little port between the spark plugs on the 08-12 engine? I know the pregen doesnt have it and it concerns me because I don't know how swap-able it will be.

I'm not sure of the answer, but having owned 3 pre-gen 250's and an '08 250, I like the pre-gen engine better.

Yes. You will need the front engine mount for the new Ben engine to bolt on your early bike.

pregen engines are cheaper, easier to find, and easier to install...a lot easier

unless you already have the engine and bike I'd recommend getting a pregen engine

I dunno about that. I have been looking on Ebay I find about 1:10 pregen to new gen and the new ones are cheaper. Is it just Ebay and if so, where do I look?
